Project Cases
1 Baosteel Majishan Port 2,000-ton Water Purification Treatment Equipment Project
Baosteel’s Majishan Port is located on Shengsi Island in Zhoushan. The island suffers from a severe shortage of freshwater resources. To address this, the project uses ship ballast water—after filtration and purification—to produce potable water for port operations. The client selected one HAO SHUI HS‑IMF3000 flat‑sheet ultrafiltration system, which delivers effluent with turbidity below 1 NTU; subsequent disinfection and sterilization bring the treated water quality into compliance with municipal tap‑water standards. Previously, the process relied on coagulation and sedimentation, but unstable river water often resulted in suspended solids. After switching to the flat‑sheet ultrafiltration system, the plant has operated stably for over a year, achieving a water recovery rate exceeding 95% and earning high praise from the customer.
2. 1,500-ton water purification treatment equipment project at a printing and dyeing factory in Jinhua
The customer’s original reclaimed‑water treatment process involved passing the effluent from the secondary sedimentation tank through a column‑type ultrafiltration unit before it entered the reverse osmosis system. However, with an increase in influent flow, the secondary clarifier became overloaded, resulting in elevated suspended solids in the effluent and frequent fouling of the column‑type ultrafiltration membranes. To address this issue, Haoshui supplied ten HS‑IMF160 ultrafiltration membrane filtration units along with membrane cabinets; the permeate achieved an SDI of less than 3, meeting the feedwater requirements for the reverse osmosis system. The plate‑type ultrafiltration system also demonstrated its superior resistance to high suspended‑solid loads.
